The kick-off meeting of the SERIOUS project was successfully held on 1 April 2025 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb. The meeting brought together all members of the research team from five institutions in Croatia, Slovenia and Germany.
The agenda covered a wide range of topics and reflected the interdisciplinary nature of the project, which brings together a team of experts from different fields — including climate modelling, hydrological and hydraulic analysis, machine learning for data classification, and innovative field measurements at pilot bridge sites.
The meeting served as a valuable opportunity to establish priorities for the first project year, and strengthen collaboration across institutions.
